Search “GT3 rental Napa” and most of what comes up is either a national marketplace like Turo, where the “911” listings are almost always a standard Carrera, not a GT3, or a rental brand that doesn’t actually have a Napa location at all. Two companies genuinely operate here, and both happen to carry the track-focused GT3 RS rather than the base GT3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Napa Valley Supercars publishes its GT3 RS rate outright: $1,395 to $1,495 for a 24-hour rental, with 75 free miles per day, a $5,000 security deposit, and $5.00 per additional mile. Insurance coverage of $100K\/$300K\/$100K is required, and they’ll sell you a policy on the spot if you don’t already have coverage that qualifies. Pricing is upfront on their site, no quote request needed. Their own spec sheet lists the car at 500 hp, a 193 mph top speed, and a stated vehicle value of $210,000, figures that line up with the outgoing 991.2-generation GT3 RS, not the current 992. (The 992 GT3 RS’s aero package caps it closer to 184 mph despite more power, so a 193 mph top speed is a solid tell for which car you’re actually getting.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Napa Valley Car Club also carries a GT3 RS, specifically confirmed as a 991.2-generation car on their own spec page, 520 horsepower, 3.0-second 0-60, but the price isn’t published. It’s an inquiry-based model: you reach out to their concierge line and they quote you based on dates and availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Put together, both outfits appear to be renting the same generation car, the 991.2 GT3 RS, not the newer 992. That’s a real, useful distinction if you’ve driven one before and are expecting the latest version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That leaves one practical difference between the two: Napa Valley Supercars tells you the price before you pick up the phone. Napa Valley Car Club doesn’t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Turo has real supply in Napa, but not this car. Search results turn up plenty of standard Porsche 911s, mostly Carrera-generation cars from individual hosts, running $350 to $450 a day for a three-day trip. That’s a meaningfully different car: a great way to spend a day in wine country, but not the naturally-aspirated, track-tuned GT3 RS experience. If a regular 911 is what you’re after, Turo is the cheaper and more flexible option. At $1,400-ish for 24 hours, you’re paying roughly what a lot of people spend on a nice hotel night, for a car that’s a real asset either way you look at it. The 991.2 GT3 RS you’d actually be driving at either outfit is running around $240,000 on the current used market, close to the $210,000 value Napa Valley Supercars itself puts on the car. If you’re picturing the newer 992 GT3 RS instead, that’s a different, far pricier car right now, trading around $450,000 to $500,000, and neither Napa outfit appears to have one. Either way, the rental is a rounding error next to ownership. The math only makes sense if the GT3 RS is the point of the trip, not an add-on to it. Mulholland Highway or the Angeles Crest are wasted on this car in traffic; a GT3 RS wants Highway 128 out toward the Silverado Trail on a quiet morning, where the 9,000-RPM redline and the rear-axle steering actually get to do something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you’re already planning a Napa weekend and want one serious drive in the middle of it, a single day is the right amount.
